​Why you should have BOE Certification?
“BOE (Boiler Operation Engineer)” means a person granted with a certificate of proficiency as a boiler operation engineer under the IBR rules. Boiler Operation Engineer holding a Certificate of Proficiency under IBR rules shall, at all reasonable times during the period any boiler is in his charge or attendance, be bound to produce such certificate when called upon to do so by any of the persons empowered under section 15 to call for the production of a certificate or provisional order granted under the Act.

Procedure to take NOC from your working state  :

1. Kindly make your experience certificate in 02 copy(1 for NOC to submit your boiler office & 2nd one for submission along with application form). Format of Experience Certificate.

2. Simply write an application in the name of your state boiler office CIB(Chief Inspectorate of Boiler) to issue  a NOC  to appear in BOE Examination.

3. Submit your application along with one original copy of experience certificate at your state boiler office.

4. They will issue NOC to you.

5. Kindly note that without NOC you can not appear in outside state.State means where you are working right now, no any relation from which state you are belonging.

Eligibility Criteria for appearing in BOE Examination:

A. Qualification: Degree OR Diploma from a recognized Institution in:

i. Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, or Production Engineering.

B. Experience: Candidates should have experience in Operation and/ or Maintenance of Boiler for :

i. Not less than two years in case of Degree holders.
ii. Not less than Five years in case of Diploma holders.
iii. Not less than one year in case of Degree holders with PG Diploma from NPTI.
